My question involves civil rights in the State of: I attempted to get my concealed handgun license in texas. I was denied because I have a Class B misdemeanor on my record for driving with an invalid license. The Texas Department of Public Safety advised me to get and order of nondisclosure. After six hours, and 12 different buildings, I was informed that the order of nondisclosure would not do me any good. I was then further instructed that I should get this misdemeanor exponged from my record. After further research online, I am not able to do that either. I was also told that I can attempt to have the Class B reduced to a Class C. I need advice on what I can do to get rid of/hide my Class C misdemeanor so that I can get my CHL. HELP?
