Domestic Violence: Third Degree Battery Charge With a No-Contact Order

jeudi 12 mars 2015

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arkansas

My wife was charged with 3rd Deg Bat in early January. She was given a no cantact order for me and my family and an order not to leave the state. When I picked her up from jail I said if you do this to me again I'm leaving you. THAT night she became abusive again but nothing crazy so I let it fly. Long stoey short, I packed up her apartment and daughter and moved them to North Carolina. SIX days after she was arrested she became extremely violent again so I left. She does the verbal and psychical abuse in front of the toddler daughter to the point that the daughter is screaming words I won't repeat on here. Now I have no idea how the law works in Arkansas. But I'm trying to figure out how to get it where she gets what she deserves, between breaking the no contact order, leaving the state before the court, doing horrible things in front of the child, and continuing to abuse. So what can I do between her charge and protecting the child?
