My question involves an easement in the state of:Florida
My property borders on the corner of two roadways. I have leased the right of way from the city to build a concrete parking pad for a small business/home office setup. If the spaces are full, some bozo will park on my lawn instead. He says it's not my property, it's the city's because of the easement. Can that be right? Can I just pull onto anybody's lawn when I can't find a parking space because there's an easement attached to the property?
Should I not be landscaping in that area, and just get over it?
And while I'm at it, can anybody that wants to park on the parking pad I built be able to? Can I restrict it to customers only?
