My question involves a child custody case from the State of: KS
My son father did not sign ever sign the Voluntary Acknowledgement of Paternity Affidavit form only I did (the mother), however I am 100% sure he is the father so I did put him down as the father. Do he have any legal rights to keep him if he didn't sign the VAPA form/Birth Certificate even though I put his name on it because I am sure he is the father, but no DNA test has been done or he hasn't consent? And would I legally have sole custody of my son until the courts decide other wise when paternity is legally established?
