My question involves child support in the State of: Arizona
I'm desperate. I have 4 children ages 4-14. I have always been a good dad, close to my kids. My ex is controling and is determined to make me "sorry" for our divorce. It has been over 3 years and we have both remarried. She married 2 years ago and I married recently. Since my marriage the trouble has really gotten out of control.I've paid lawyers, gone to court only to be taken for more and more money. Now I'm desperate. I pay about 60% of my salary. I live in Texas and pay for the travel expenses to get my kids here for the one week she allows me to have in the summer and one week at Christmas. She controls when I see them, talk to them and even the church i must take them to when they are in my care. Recently she took me to court for $5000 more I owe in medical bills and extra activities. The judge gave me 48hrs to pay it but I couldn't get the money in that short of time. I was also to pay her attorney fees. There is a warrant out and I can't even come to Arizona without being arrested. I want to be able to pay my part but with what I pay there are times I have not even enough to pay for gas to get to work. I work side jobs and don't even own a car. I am not a dead beat dad, I'm trying to see my kids. The judge we had would not even listen to me or my attorney. She would not grant a modification. Please tell me what I can do to fight this. My kids need me and I need them. It seems impossible to make this better. Please help.
