Speeding Tickets: Wrong Address Written for Violation

mercredi 4 février 2015

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Florida

I received a speeding ticket for going 54 in a 45 the other night. The problem is I was in a 55 mph zone when he pulled me over, I remember thinking this is crazy because I had a slow driver in front of me I was barely going the speed limit. He said the speed limit is 45 through here and issued a ticket. I thought I was going crazy since I didn't see a sign change to 45 until about a mile and a half down the road. Here is the issue when I looked at the ticket he wrote the intersection of a road 2 miles further down the road where the speed limit is in fact 45. I can't think of how I can prove that is not where he pulled me over at. The road is kind of a back road so I thought maybe that was the next intersection but even so that's a huge difference since the speed limit changes within that distance. Any advice? Thanks so much!
