My question involves vehicle registration or title in the state of: Georgia
I am currently in the middle of a divorce and my current wife co-signed on the vehicle that I am driving. When we got the car, my credit was less than good so she co-signed on it. I made the down payment and have been making the payments on the lien. I have also paid the registration and insurance on the vehicle. I am wondering does she have the legal right to take/sell the car without my knowledge. I have already begun to try and have the car refinanced in my name only but have not gotten a response back from the bank as of yet.
