Discrimination: Falsly Accused of Racism at Non Profit

vendredi 19 septembre 2014

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Oregon. I have been with company for 3 years. My supervisor and the accuser in question are best friends, they take bacations together and spend holidays together. Accuser and myself have never gotten along. I have been turned down for 3 propmotions, only person in department with no promotion. The one person hired after me has been promoted with no college degree, even though it was required. Accuser is Cambodian, supervisor is black. Accuser ecently accus3d me of being racist towards her to my supervisor, cfo and hr. Then told me about it wanting to know if I had been written up. I am a caucasian. I just put in my notice yesterday. I feel that her and my supervisor have been pushing me out for sometime now and saying I am racist was the last straw. Do I have any legal action I can take? My income is going to go into the toilet and my student loans will not be forgiven in 7 years, which was a huge push for me to take a job at a non profit.
