DNA Testing: Father Seeking Paternity of an Unborn Child

lundi 8 septembre 2014

My question involves paternity law for the State of: Massachusetts

My case is that I met this woman 6 months ago, she came from another country, fleeing domestic violence and abuse from her fiancée.

she had been living at her parents since.

We started a friendship and dating, so we planned to move in together, when we learn she was pregnant, she made a lot of excuses for not seeing me, so at the end she texted me that she wanted to rise the child by herself with the support of her parents, she texted me not to contact her nor look for her cause she wanted nothing to do with me, threatened me that if I text her one more time she will call the cops and accuse me of harassment.

I am 40 y.o. with no children, never use drugs I am financially stable ,I have been living at the same address for over ten years, and 4 years at the same job, five years in my previous job and no record at all, I offered to marry her, support my biological baby and everything but she just don't listen, her brother told me that she is waiting to give birth the baby here in the states and go back to her country, with her fiancée, which is a congresswoman at her native country.

Can I claim paternity of my child? I don't want her to take it to another country, I want to be with my only child and provide everything a child needs, I am also concerned about not seeing him/her ever, about education and their violent relationship history with that person.

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks in advance

PS

the domestic violence from her fiancée was not documented by any authority, can only be proved by her family members who know she had been beaten and wrists broken
