My question involves judgment recovery in the State of: Texas (Dallas)
Long story short. I purchase the house from my in-laws in 2009. They have a son who has not work in at least 10 years. Now that my mother-in-law passes away, my brother-in-law convinced his father to ask for the house back. We battle in court from May of 2013 until June 27 2014. I WON!!!
I just found out that my father-in-law place a lien on the house in 2013 when all this court deal started. Do the judgment eliminates the lien on the house or do I have to get a lawyer? I don't want to hire a lawyer again, at $300 per hour it gets expensive very quick. I know I can call the court to ask but I will like to get some input from any of you.
Thank you
