My question involves criminal law for the state of: Louisiana
There's this store that's only 5 minutes away and twice within the last month or month and a half a cashier has only scanned one of the two papers I was going to buy. I'm not doing anything to hide I have both papers. I go to the store nearly every day for the papers. Nothing can be proved I didn't have the intent to pay because I always have the money and didn't put one in my pocket or anything. I just haven't said anything when I have realized they didn't scan one. It isn't my job to tell them what they did or didn't scan. Maybe morally I should but when they are literally playing Candy Crush or messing around (with me I might add) while they are "doing their job" it's a brand new ballgame.
Oh and yesterday they were eating chicken while checking people out...
