Is there a statute of limitation as to how long she has to remove the other's name from the real estate she was awarded in the divorce? Divorce was final in 2005, but recently she mailed me a special warranty deed to have notarized and return to her. Since she was awarded the house/land, do I have to sign it or after this much time, does this mean it still belongs to both of us, as in half of property value belongs to me?
