Health Insurance: Neonatal Care for First 15 Days Under Mother's Insurance

My question involves insurance law for the state of: Michigan



Hi All,



We are from Michigan and recently we had a baby who is in Neo Natal ICU for first 15 days of her birth.



My Insurance is charging for baby separately instead in Mother's insurance.



I read somewhere that first 30 days of the Baby treatment will be covered in Mother's insurance. Somebody please tell me, is there any such law is there to cover first 30 days in Mother's insurance.
