My question involves judgment recovery in the State of Pennsylvania. We had a tenant who beat us out of $2,000 in back rent. We are in Bucks County PA. We went through the process of eviction and took him to court. He never showed up to the hearing and this is what the outcome was CERTIFICATION OF JUDGMENT FROM DISTRICT JUSTICE OF THE PEACE. ASSUMPSIT EO DIE JUDGMENT ENTERED IN THE SUM OF $1872.36 AGNST DEFT. Have no idea what that means.
We are now curious on what to do now since there is no record of his current address. We know where he works so can we somehow have them garnish his wages?
