My question involves court procedures for the state of: Texas
Hello, first let me say that I hope this post is in the right forum category.
I have retained a Texas attorney and have filed suit against a ex wife who has moved to Florida
taking my son with no notice to me and against court order of geographic restriction. There are actually many violations but they are not the reason for my post.
My question to the group/professionals is how long should it take before she she is served?
Here's more,
This started in late July and finally in late October her new address was in hand. ( Which btw I had to finally come up with not my attorney)
So anyway since the later part of October paperwork was finally filed and I was told in the hands of the sheriff's dept in a Florida county.
Which brings me back to my question of How long it should take to have her actually served? Here we are in December now and my attorney
doesn't give me any feedback, I feel I have to always call and call and call her before I finally get a answer and its usually not help. Does Florida not have people for the court house that its there job to go and serve people?
Any how, Thanks for the feedback from all.
