Driver's License Reinstatement Can You Avoid an Ignition Interlock if You Move to a Different State

lundi 2 février 2015

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Kansas

I was cited for DUI in Kansas but have since moved to Missouri. I received a letter from the State of Kansas stating I needed to install an ignition interlock device for 6 months to drive in Kansas. Do I need to have this installed for that amount of time, or can I refrain from driving in Kansas for that 6 month period instead and have that serve as my suspension? The start date for my 6 month period has already passed. If I do need to have this device installed does the 6 months start from that time? Thank you in advance for any help.
