My question involves criminal law for the state of: Pennsylvania
i have a few questions. lets just say a "friend" hasn't actually been charged with anything but some what worried about track record. . basically they are legitimate purchases not stolen from the store. meaning grabbing them and walking out with them. purchases from online say big retailer etc. putting something lesser value shrink wrap and return at store. they were pretty big amounts over 500. how likely are they to trace back credit cards. etc.??? the returns might be suspicious but the purchases are not.
would it be hard to prove a "friend" did it even though he made the returns in store?
