My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
My wife recently made a right turn at red light without completely stop and was caught by the red light camera (California). Since the vehicle is registered under my name, I receive a citation along with a picture of my wife behind the wheel. The included letter says I am required to identify the driver if I am not the driver.
After some research, I found the registered owner is not legally required to identify the violator. Can I simple include a picture of myself or my driver license with the trial by written declaration to show the judge that I am not the driver? What is my best defense without point to my wife?
Many thanks in advance!
