My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: California.
Hello Everyone,
In detail, I have been working for my organisation since 20nd December 2012 In Feb 2014, due to pressures at home and work, I has 10 days off certified with anxiety.
Currently, I am in my third week of another bout of depression and am signed off for this.
I have had no consultation with my employers, before I was signed off, the HR advisor suggested I do actually take some time out as I have a lot of home and financial issues troubling me.Yesterday, out of the blue, I receive an emailed letter telling me my employment has been terminated, no warnings or meetings before this. There has been no reason given in the termination letter.
I did not know of this is legal and would ask if anyone can give me advice as soon as possible?
Thanks
