My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California
I just lost a case in Family court. i was ruled that I not the presumptive father because I could not prove that " I received the child into my home". Without going into a lot of detail. I had a relationship with my girl for 13 years from the time she was born, but I got a real bad judge. Does anyone know of any case law where there can be other factors that a man can be a presumptive father without the " receiving into his home"
Thanks,
Rob
