My question involves traffic court in the State of: California
I received a ticket with VC 22350 and have requested a speedy trial with a trial date set for October 15. Wanted to find out what is the best defense against VC 22350.
The cop was on his motorcycle and told me that he paced me from a stop light. I was at a complete stop at a light and made a left turn and drove under .3 miles before he turned his lights on. Couple of questions:
1. What minimum distance(if any) is required in CA for a PO to pace.
2. What do I need to request from the officer/Fremont PD prior to court date and how do I do it.
3. Shall I represent myself or take a lawyer with me.
The speed limit was 30 and he paced me at 55.
