My question involves personal property located in the State of: WA
I live on a lot that is slopped in the back and goes into a beautiful green belt. My next door neighbor is also on this slope. My fence abuts to her property. I have put in lovely retaining walls on my property to maintain the slope. My neighbor has done nothing to prevent erosion and now my fence is falling into her yard. About 3 years ago i bought her french drain pipe and river rock to help with drainage, but she never had it installed and it sits on the other side of the fence. The erosion continues and her yard is about 2 feet lower than my yard now. Her yard is sliding but she has no money to do anything about it. This has dire consequences to both our properties. 1. my expensive retainer walls and fence are about to drop into her yard. 2. I am getting ready to retire and sell and there is no way I could sell the property with this issue.
what are my options?
thanks in advance for any advise.
