My question involves business law in the state of: New York
Hello
I'm beginning a single member managed domestic LLC in NY and have a registered agent. Is it allowable to have either a company or someone you know to act as the "filer" and "organizer" when registering my business? If so do I have to submit anything to the Secretary of State like my Operating Agreement to show I'm the owner?
Also being I'm a one person LLC, (for now), starting/running the LLC (conducting a music related business where I will be the one doing all the billing; scheduling; promotion), should I consider election of being taxed as an S-Corp because of corporate tax rates being lower than individual tax rates?
