My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: North Carolina
Ok so I currently have a NC drivers license that has been suspended for a year due to a speeding ticket in the state of Florida. I no longer live in the state of NC and have lived in Florida for 3 years now. After paying the ticket off I find that NC has me suspended for 1 year and I'm not able to simply go to the DMV here in Florida and get a FL license. I was informed by NCDMV that after the clearance letters were received, that 30 days from that point I would be eligible for a hearing. My question is, is there anything else that can be done for me to get driving privileges in the mean time? I just bought a vehicle here and can't tag or insure it until I get this fixed. Should I hire a attorney in NC to fix this for me? Need some suggestions PLEASE!:wallbang:
