My question involves estate planning in the state of: Louisiana and Texas.
I have looked around the internet and it seems that if you have assets in more that one State, then you only need one Will and it would cover all of your assets, but what if one of those states is Louisiana? From what I can tell, Louisiana has very different estate planning laws, so if I own a house there, do I need a separate Will to cover my Louisiana property? Or can I have my Will written in Texas to also cover this property?
Thanks.
