Disability Benefits: Applying for Temporary Disability in New Jersey

vendredi 17 octobre 2014

I am asking for help asap for my daughter's friend. She is 26 years old and I am not exactly sure of her medical diagnosis, however she has been hospitalized and put in a psychiatric ward to my knowledge 3 times. She has a 7 year old son, who's care is mostly provided by the father and his parents. She has no insurance, however she did work in 2014. Approximately one month ago she got ill again and was taken to the hospital and put in the psychiatric ward again, she loses sense of time, her Mom was murdered and her Dad has passed however she has these episodes because I found out she was not taking her medication because she could not afford it. I truly want to help her. I would like to know if she should apply for temporary disability because she can work if she is able to get her medication. Also, now she has a huge hospital bill and of course without insurance she cannot pay. Can someone please advise me the best route to go to help this girl get back on her feet, get her medication and somehow relieve the burden of the hospital bill?

The members of this site have helped me tremendously with issues I have had in the past and I am so very grateful. This little girl really needs my help and I am not sure what to do? Please help me help her!

Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may be ale to offer me!
