Following Too Closely: Following Too Closely Ticket After an Accident

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington

A few months ago I was involved in a minor car accident in Tukwila, WA. Long story short, we were both stopped at a red light, I was distracted and took my foot off the brake and when I realized I was about to hit the car ahead of me it was too late. No damage to his truck since I hit hit ball hitch, but my car had front damage but still drivable.

No police saw the incident but the driver I hit wanted to call the police since he was a government worker and felt he needed a report. Funny thing is he had no license on him and got no ticket but that's another issue for another day. :wallbang:

Cops wrote up a report, took our statements, and issued no tickets. 2 weeks later I got a ticket in the mail for $175. RCW 46.61.145 Following Too Closely - W/ Collision.

Since the vehicle I hit wasn't moving and we were both stopped at a red light (before I took my foot off the brake), how should I go about fighting this next week in court? I know I obviously did something wrong, but technically I wasn't following too closely since he wasn't moving....

Thanks in advance for all your advice.

Unknown a dit…

I just knew my instinct wont lead me wrong when i decided to try the hacker with the email address (spystealth.org AT gmail DOT com) out. I was scared at first because he told me i had to make an upfront payment before he could begin the hack. That made a part of me scared i could be scammed and a big part of me kept saying i should go ahead with it. So i followed my mind and went on with it. I sent him a mail telling him i needed his help hacking into my wife’s instagram account and he assured me a clean job with no traces and that was exactly how it came out. He is so discrete and i like the fact that he is fast and reliable. There’s nothing wrong in trying, so contact him at spystealth.org AT gmail DOT com and i'm assuring you won’t regret working with him.
