Speeding Tickets: Speeding in a School Zone Carrying 3 Passengers Under 20/ Provisional License

mercredi 15 octobre 2014

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California

I am 16 years old with a provisional license.

I was stopped by an officer after going est.48-50 mph in a school zone during lunch carrying three other minors.

22350 VC BASIC SPEED, 12814.6(6)(1) VC PROVISIONAL LICENSE are the violations.

Unsure if he used a radar or not, the radar is uncircled on my notice and it says estimated 50 mph.

It was a clear open road and no children were in sight.

I was given a Notice To Appear to court in December, what are the possible consequences?

Will my license be revoked? What is the best path of action to take from here? Am I allowed to take traffic school?

I was driving a Camaro if that makes any difference.
