My question involves business law in the state of: California
I've been working with a friend for the past 5 months to build a website in the financial sector for sending/receiving money. Given the sector we're in, we need to do ample legal diligence to find out where it's best to domicile our company and this is taking some time.
That said, I'm a little concerned we haven't formalized our partnership yet given a company hasn't been formed. Is there any way for me and my partner to formalize our business relationship with equity agreement, voting rights, etc *before* our company is formed? If so, what's the best approach?
