My question involves child support in the State of: Indiana
My son is a disabled Retired veteran. He is attending EMT/paramedic training so he will be able to provide for his children. He's using his GI bill to pay for school. He is getting a divorce and the wife wants child support. With no other income, can the court garnish social security disability and medical retirement funds to pay child support? Will he be told to quit school and work a minimum wage job so support can be paid?
