My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: texas
My issue has to do with unpaid travel time and the overtime associated with it. For example it would be nationwide travel by car. Actual work time on site would be around 30 hours (paid) and travel time interstate around 60 hours (unpaid) for the week seasonally over a 2 year period.
Would using an attorney instead of going through the department of labor have a significant effect on how much I could be compensated or any other advantages?
