My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Michigan
This is for a friend of mine.
"Car accident tonight FML. And (daughter)'s pissed we missed her school roller skating party tonight, sorry kid.
We all went in my car to the mechanic to pick up the Pontiac, as it had a filter replaced, no biggie, right? Well, (son) stayed with (hubby) and I took Daughter in my car and we were gonna meet at Taco Bell before I took (daughter) skating. I was getting ready to turn left on Van Dyke and swore I was clear to turn while a sedan waved me into traffic, since he needed into the parking lot I was exiting. As I turn onto Van Dyke, another sedan must've been doing 10 over while changing lanes, merges over at the same time, hitting me, while at the same time, he got rear ended by a truck. Both of those cars were merging into the left turn lane at least 100 yds before the light at the intersection while both were going over the speed limit. The mechanic at the shop saw the whole thing and says I should fight the ticket I got. I feel as if this wasn't totally my fault, but was ticketed for failing to yield. All while I've been applying to jobs this week and no one ever hires me Aaaauuugh . Now what? I don't even know what to do right now or how to potentially fight the ticket or how we're gonna pay for my stupid car Blerg Flip side of the coin, with our Pontiac Vibe being the nicer car, I'm glad that one didn't get effed up, but at the same time . We bought the Taurus last spring with the hope of me find a job, which has yet to happen, and we've spent more in maintenance on it than we did buying it. This sucks...
I do not know about road conditions, but assume they sucked as bad as here, with slick conditions.
Any input?
Thanks
