Background Checks: Applying for an ABC Card with an Outstanding Warrant

I have to take my ABC Card application (which my employer has provided me) to the Government Building, across the street from the court house here in Albany, Georgia, so that I may legally serve alcoholic beverages. My question: will having an outstanding warrant refrain my receiving the ABC Card, or worse, lead to my arrest while waiting for my copy? Or will that information even be examined?
