My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California

On September 7, 2014 about 10:00 AM, I received a speeding ticket heading home from the gym. I drove about 1/2 mile when suddenly, I see a motorcycle with blinking lights on my rear mirror and realized that it was intended for me. I pulled over and turned my car off and rolled my windows down. The officer asked me if I knew why he had stopped me and my replied was NO. He informed me that he clocked me on radar going 48 mph in a 35. I nodded my head and told him that I had never received a ticket before and would like to see the radar gun. He replied with "your court date is on November 19th" I repeated my question again, and received the same response. When I told him that he was not responding to my question, he responded "I did not hear you but your court date in the 19th of November.

I drive the same road three times a week going/coming from the gym and had never gone over 40 miles. On this date, three cars were driving on the same road at the same speed. I end up being the one he ticketed.

It is worth contesting my speeding ticket? Please advice.
