My question involves traffic court in the State of: California.
My wife recently completed traffic school for a right turn on red ticket. She was eligible for traffic school as it has been several years since her last ticket, and completed her final exam well within the deadline.
I just checked the court website which shows the Case Status as "Closed" and the Disposition as "Traffic School Completed".
Shouldn't the Disposition say "Dismissed?" And if so, what should I do? I've heard several horror stories of people completing traffic school only to have the court report their ticket to the DMV. I don't want to end up in the same boat.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
By the way, this is through the Newport Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach, if that matters.
