My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Georgia
I'm working as a movie extra.
I got about few paychecks for my recent project and I noticed that the pay rate was changed from $110/10hrs that was offered initially, confirmed in emails and printed in the voucher to $80/8hrs that I discovered in the check when it arrived.
I called the payroll company and asked for explanation. Their associate insisted that the math was done right and that there was "no significant difference" the changing of rates had made.
I objected that, but the payroll company workers did not want to continue this discussion.
Please advise any possible legal actions I can perform in this situation.
Thank you.
