My question involves business law in the state of: New York
I hired a software developer to program an app. We made a very good design document together.
But the app never got ready. It's more than 15 months in development now.
We canceled many features because the estimation regarding time and money was totally wrong.
I've already spent a lot of money - and I really mean a lot... :-(
Now the developer is focusing on other projects and still has not finished the app. I'm loosing confidence that they will ever (be able to) finish the app.
I'm now thinking about hiring an attorney to sue them.
Do you think this is actually a good idea?
Do you know how to find a really good attorney specialized in software development issues?
I'm located in New York City.
