My question involves civil rights in the State of: Arkansas
My girlfriend and I have been together for 5 years. We had some problems for about a month and she experimented and ended up pregnant with a beautiful baby girl I now call my daughter and have since day 1. I was there through her entire pregnancy and still there by both of their sides to this day. We have became even stronger and closer through all of this. I want to know how I can legally adopt her as my child aswell. I don't want rights taken from the mother I want us to be a LEGAL little family.also the biological father does not and has not been around nor does he want to be. Matter of fact he denies the child being his to everyone but we both know the truth. Unfortunately my state does not recognize same sex marriage so we cannot marry in our home state. I would appreciate any advice possible so that I can have my already little family be a LEGAL family. Atleast I want to legally adopt the baby as mine and her mother's.
