My question involves an eviction in the state of: CA
I am in the process of a UD. There are two owners of the property...mother/son duo. The son is the live-in landlord and the person noted on my lease as my landlord, not his mother, but both do own the property and it is his mother that filed the case, not him. My questions:
What if the other landlord wants the case against me dismissed? What can he do to interfere with the eviction process if he were to at this point?
I am going to the courthouse in the morning for a UD clinic to begin my response and file a waiver for court fees.
