My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: NY/Federal
I thought there were laws, perhaps regulations set by the FTC, regarding legal notices all websites are required to have.
Exhaustive searching is revealing nothing, as if no requirements exist. Things such as disclaimers. I know there are some privacy requirements, but that is not what I need.
If anyone can point me to something, I'd appreciate it. This relates to a sales page on a domain that has no footers with legal disclaimers/notices. They do exist on the home page, but there are no links to the home page from the sales page. A cleverly worded guarantee has its full terms IN the terms that can be found at the bottom of the home page...but NOT on the sales page.
I'm looking for any law/regulation that requires notice on the actual sales page.
Thanks.
