My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: Michigan
My car was repossessed, and I have until 1/27 to pay over $2300 to get it back before they auction it. I do understand that if there is a difference of what I owe and what it is auctioned off for that I would be responsible. My question is: can i make payments on that amount when it comes time? The car payment is $500, and frankly, I don't know that I can afford it anymore. I'm not concerned with my credit. My husband has the mortgage and all. So, should I pay to get it out and keep struggling to make payments? or do I let it go and payoff the difference?
