My question relates to legal practice in the state of: Colorado
Hypothetically, (details left out on purpose) if I or someone I know has a law degree, but the person has never been a licensed attorney, can they be legally employed as a "legal adviser" for a company? Also, can they legally have office called "(name of person) Law" if they make clear before any financial payment or other arrangement for services that they are not a licensed attorney? Or would this be considered the unauthorized practice of law? Is there a civil or criminal penalty for this?

Unauthorized Practice of Law: Law Degree Equals Ability to Be Employed As a Legal Adviser Without a Law License
