My question involves judgment recovery in the State of:Texas
So I had a judgement entired against me although I was never properly served for tarrant county texas from an apartment agency in the amout of $1024. I am willing to pay it in order to get it off my credit report. When I go to negotiate with the creditor what will I need them to sign to be satisfactory that I can later remove it from my credit report later? A release of judgement, vacatur of judgement?
The judgement is from 2012 they also sold the same debt to a collection agency in the amount of $8000 for the same issue. I my plan was to pay the judgment send the credit reporting agencies showing that the debt went to court and a default jusegment was awarded and has since been paid and the collection agency does not have authority as the debt has been satisfied. All while the judgement will be dismissed so i can remove it. Will this work?
