My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Arizona
In a collision where the injured party was hit by a person who was speeding, ran a red light, and possibly has no liability insurance... there was inaccurate as well as missing information on the police report. Understandable in a major crash if the initial notes are incomplete, but the report filed lists the offender as the registered owner (which they were not.) Both parties were listed as not having insurance even though the victim did. And according to City,County, and State public citation searches... there was no citation issued to the offender. The victim sustained serious injuries and has reviewed the police report wondering if there is any recourse available against the Law Enforcement Agency as well as what can be done legally regarding the uninsured driver. If more information is needed to help answer these questions please let me know. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
