My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida
We have guy here in Florida who spent 21 days in jail because he failed to appear in court. When his name was called he stood in the peanut gallery and answered that he was "A third party here to address that issue." I hope I'm accurate in quoting him and if not you get the gist of it.
I am in a discussion on this case and I have been asked to provide a reference to the law that requires this guy to go through the gate of the railing between the peanut gallery and the area before the Bench. I have never questioned this procedure bu than I'm not a sovcit.
Can anyone point me to the rules requiring this or how the practice is made part of appearing before the Court? Thanks
