My question involves a child custody case from the State of: TN
Hello. I have a complex case of custody matters and an ongoing dispute with the mother. We have a temporary custody plan where I have my boys every weekend. Have an intense case with a very involved attorney. I left wife to have relationship with a man, whom I love greatly and plan on being married to. He was hired by my wife as a live-in nanny for our boys. The kids love him and ask for him all the time. The temporary order requires that he not be around during my time with them. Wife is adamant that he will never be around them, despite them asking for him all the time. I have abided by the order, but am hoping we will be able to have a normal relationship and family life soon. I am fearing that she will file an order of protection against him even though there is no basis for such. Her retaliative actions are coming from her grief and slow processing of the situation that we are in. It is becoming a burden for my relationship in finding a place for him to stay on weekends during visitation. I will continue this, of course, but am wondering at what point he will be allowed to be with us without restriction.
