Suspension and Revocation: DMV Abstract

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: California

Hello everyone, I would like to share with you an issue I'm having with the Los Angeles county court system. The beginning of this year, in January, I received a fix it ticket for not having the proper tags on my vehicle due to a smog issue. I resolved the issue with the DMV and got the smog check. Eventually though I totally forgot, out of ignorance, that I still had to appear in court to resolve the matter. As months went by I received a notice that involves a failure to appear, and now my case has already been referred to GC Services. I went to the GC services window today to try to schedule a court date. However, the GC clerk told me that there is no court dates available until December. With that being said she said my license would be suspended till that time unless I pay the new fine of 1006 dollars. I have read some stuff about abstracts but the lady told me that I could not receive an abstract until I see the judge. I'm not sure, but i'm pretty confident I still rate the DMV Abstract. Does anyone know if I can purchase a DMV abstract with the actual court clerk after I have scheduled a court date with GC services? Or do I have to pay the bail amount, then purchase the DMV abstract with the court date?
