My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: CA
I was on FMLA intermittently until it was exhausted. I am on State disability for the hours I lacked to make up to my current full time wages. I still am not able to work full time in my original position I held for 4 years. They now want to offer me a part time position that I could do however my monthly benefits will cost me triple and I am wondering if accepting the new position will make me lose my state disability for the balance of the hours since I am starting over in a part time job. Please, anyone knowledgeable please help! Thanks.
