My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
I was recently cited for speeding on a California highway that had a 65mph posted speed limit. The violation is listed as CVC 22349a.
I do not doubt that I was going 80 mph, but I argue that I was simply keeping with the flow of traffic. There were not too many cars surrounding me at the time but everyone else in the fast lane (where I was pulled over) was also going 80. The officer could have pulled over anyone else in my lane-- it just happened to be me.
Is there any chance of reasoning with a judge on this basis? If so, how could I phrase it?
Thank you!
