My question involves a child custody case from the State of: CA and the UK
I'll be brief. My wife and I seperated while she was still pregnant with our son. The split was due to infidelity, and I told her I no longer wanted to be married (and I also questioned the my paternity). Her answer was to return to England. I didn't want her to leave but I didnt do much to stop her. I figured shed only be leaving if the baby wasn't mine. This was in 2010.
Fast forward to the present and I have come to believe the baby is mine (although I haven't done any paternity tests to prove it). I have paid child supported, Skype him on a weekly basis (even when he was an infant), and have traveled to England three times in a four year span. So, I'm involved as I can be.
My hope has been my ex would open a dialogue about him visiting the U.S. but there has been little of that. She recently offered to bring him (he's now four) to the U.S. for a week if I paid for both tickets, her accommodations and gave her a weeks salary. At this point, I'm at my wits end. What do I do?
